Achieve More and Be Financially Free

Your Billion Dollar Path.

Is simpler than most people want to think.

It isn’t an easy path, but it can be simple.

I’m going to share the path I’m creating for myself with you.

The path I am building to become a Billionaire has two components:

• Flywheel

• Compounding

Flywheel

A Flywheel is hard to get turning, but once it begins, it picks up speed and drives the business forward on its own momentum in a virtuous circle.

Jim Collins popularized the concept of a Flywheel in his book, Good to Great, and it’s driven me ever since in everything I do.

When it comes to building Your Billion Dollar Path, your Flywheel is going to be what drives it all.

Here’s my simplified Flywheel:

Social Media

Here’s some common myths you hear about Social Media - it’s:

• Toxic

• Ruining our lives

• Destroying mental health

• Leading to division in society

Social Media is not doing these things.

We are the people doing these things and social media is simply a tool we’re using.

Social media is the greatest opportunity to level the playing field we’ve ever had in civilization.

It’s a tool that can be used by anyone with access to a cellular phone to begin living the life of their dreams.

For our flywheel, it’s at the center, because it’s the driver of the plan.

As we increase our reach on social media, it will facilitate our podcast growth.

When we reach out to guests to be on the show, we’ll have more success with 1 million followers across social media and 100,000+ Newsletter and YouTube subscribers than when we invite them to be heard by my mom, dad and seven friends. Put simply, our access to guests increases.

It’s not a 1-way street, though.

With access to famous guests, what we share on social media will have a wider reach and lead to increased followers…Are you starting to see the flywheel turn…We’re just getting started.

Podcast and Newsletter

Our social media content drives new followers to the Growth Guide, our Newsletter and Podcast.

By increasing our readership of the Newsletter and downloads of the Podcast, we increase our access to guests and start generating social media content.

Each book I read should generate:

• 5 Twitter Threads

• A Newsletter Article

• 5 Short Reels to Record

Every Twitter Thread becomes content for Instagram and LinkedIn through our virtual team.

As we grow the Podcast, we’ll be able to monetize through Passive Income to start and eventually Active Income.

All money earned will be used to speed up the flywheel, as follows:

1. Invest in Newsletter growth

2. Invest in Podcast growth

3. Invest in Social reach

Passive Income

I’ve argued before, there is no such thing as Passive Income.

Instead, what’s commonly referred to as passive income is the residual result of activities you’ve already done.

In this case, passive income is going to come from three main sources:

1. Partnerships

2. Sponsorships

3. Real estate rentals

The partnerships and sponsorships will be driven by our Podcast, Newsletter and social media growth.

As we increase the reach across these three platforms, we’ll begin with deals with third parties, which will generate ongoing consistent revenue streams.

With real estate investing, we’ve invested primarily for capital appreciation over time; however, going forward, I intend to invest for cash flow. All current and future properties will be managed by third parties; else, they’d be too active.

Active Income

As we grow our social media channels, podcast and newsletter and have increased passive income from each source, we’ll begin investing in active businesses, which I’m exploring.

The goal is to focus on businesses I can positively impact through increased distribution, which leads me to explore direct-to-consumer businesses.

What I bring to the table is:

1. Obsession

2. Distribution

3. Finance Know How

4. Leadership Know How

I’m looking for people who bring this to the table:

1. A business

2. Operating experience

3. Desire to grow the business

4. Desire to partner with the right team

If you’re the type of person I’m looking for and you think I can help you, then Let’s Talk.

Over the next 17 years, I’m driving hard at Mission 2040, with a goal of:

20 active businesses

40 cash-flowing real estate assets

We'll prove ourselves with our first few businesses and then we'll scale the operation across more social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube), which will:

1. Drive more traffic

2. Increase our distribution

3. Increase the deal flow access

4. Improve our access to good talent

This isn't a model that hasn't been done before.

That's fine.

We don't need to be first.

We need to be the best and most consistent.

If there’s anything I’ve developed, it’s a propensity for those.

Content Idea Creation

This is the best part.

As we build the machine, the ideas won’t stop.

In fact, they’ll start to speed up across multiple avenues.

It will allow me to focus my writing on helping people build:

• Bank

• Brains

• Businesses

In other words, I’ll teach people how to grow their wealth, improve their lives and build the businesses of their dreams while doing it myself.

As you’ve heard me say or read me write, I prefer to learn from people with lived experience and it’s the angle I want to take as a content creator and motivational writer and speaker.

This content, in turn, increases the reach, views and followers on social media, which gets the flywheel spinning faster and faster over time.

Compounding

This isn’t a billion-dollar path overnight.

It will take at least five years to produce meaningful income.

Once you have a meaningful income, it will take two things to reach high levels of wealth – Time or Luck.

It becomes a billion-dollar path if you’re able to build the machine at a reasonable age and live long enough to prosper from it, as Warren Buffett did with Berkshire Hathaway.

It could also simply be luck. You could be in the right place at the right time and benefit from the market effects, such as people building AI businesses in 2023. Some of them are going to do extremely well and some will fall by the wayside.

Final Thoughts
